The mission of Faiz Foundation as a non-profit, non-political association is to promote the poetry and message of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, one of the leading poets of Pakistan and South Asia. Faiz was the first Asian to receive the Lenin Peace Prize and was a Nobel Prize nominee. The foundation will provide a platform for his fans and researchers to learn about his life and works. It will promote the literary aspirations of young poets and will support and promote the causes to which Faiz devoted his life.

The Faiz Ghar is a project of the Faiz Foundation Trust, set up for the promotion of the progressive and humanistic ideas of Faiz Ahmad Faiz (1911-1984), one of the leading, if not the foremost, poets of Pakistan. The first Asian to receive the Lenin Prize and a Nobel Prize nominee, Faiz had a multifaceted personality, being amongst other things, an activist for human rights and liberties, a famous journalist and editor of literary magazines, a trade unionist, a film song writer, a founder of public cultural institutions, and, of course, a poet par excellence.
